“When I met Max, my goals were simple; I wanted to get strong and maybe lose some weight along the way. I had never been to the gym consistently before mostly due to the fear of looking stupid because I had no idea what I was doing. We started a program and he was very motivating and kept me on track. I started to feel unwell last year, and I really hit a plateau in my training. I was gaining weight instead of losing it and felt extremely tired. I found out shortly after I had adult onset Type 1 diabetes and then shortly after that, Hashimoto’s disease. “There so much I could say about my experience with Max over the last 6.5 years, he started as my trainer and became my coach. I came to Max with a number of injuries and spending much of my day in chronic hip, ankle and foot pain.
